In week 11, we had about an hour lecture. Yeah, 1 Hour. Basically Ms. Emy continue what we had learn last week, which is SQL. And today, yeah today, I learnt SELECT statement in one table type. Okay, there's a lot of statement that need to be understand. For example, ORDER BY, GROUP BY, WHERE and also HAVING. I assume these are quiet easy and understandable. Lucky for CIS student because we already have a basic programming. At least, we don't have any problem in writing SQL (hopefully I'm not the only one who think about this). Okay fast forward, again, we were going back to Normalization. Let's just say that Normalization & also Relational Algebra are quiet difficult to understand. Okay, Ms Emy showed some tips and tricks on how to change from unnormalization form -> 1NF -> 2NF -> 3NF. Well that's all I guess.
In week 12, today we learnt the last topic which is SELECT STATEMENT in Multiple Table. A very short lecture (30 minutes only!). Such a short lecture and short discussion about our Assignment 2. Okay, I realize that I'm still confuse in normalization and foreign key.

Entity: Refers to entity set and not to single entity occurrence
Attribute: Characteristics of entities
Relationship: Associations between instances of one or more entity types that is of interest
Cardinality: minimum and maximum number of instances of one entity that can associated with each instance of another entity.
Steps to draw ERD
- identify the main entities(draw rectangle)
- identify the relationships among the entities(draw diamond)
- identify the cardinality
- identify the attributes of each entity(underline the primary key & draw oval)
- revisit the ERD
